PUSD Moms Protest Budget Cuts

Hundreds of School Leaders and Parents Deliver Governor 325 School Board Resolutions from across California Opposing Education Budget Cuts

Three Pasadena PTA parents, joined School Board Member Ed Honowitz and Board Members from across the State to protest the cuts to education funding in the Governor's revised May State budget proposal.

As part of its Legislative Action Conference, hundreds of California School Boards Association members delivered 325 school  
Board resolutions to Governor Schwarzenegger's office on Monday morning opposing budget cuts to schools and students.

The school governance leaders were joined by parents from the  Pasadena Unified School District and marched en masse from the Hyatt Regency to Governor Schwarzenegger's capitol office to deliver the resolutions. 
 
The PUSD parents also delivered thousands of petition signatures and many hundreds of letters from their community members in opposition to the budget cuts.
