The Pasadena City Council declared a coming water shortage last night and implemented a voluntary conservation program.                         Under the program, Pasadena Water and Power customers will be directed to voluntarily limit watering landscape to certain days and hours and control water runoff when doing so.  Read

Chris Brandow of the Pasadena Education Network (PEN) announced yesterday that he will be stepping down as the nonprofit’s executive director as of January 24, 2008.
     “It is with mixed emotions that I inform you that I am stepping down as Executive Director of PEN … I am turning a new leaf in my career as I begin working for a biofuels company as a chemist,” said Brandow, a Caltech graduate and Pasadena resident.  Read
