A fundraiser/community memorial will be held Friday for the Dela Rosa Family, who lost 7-year-old Jose Gabriel Dela Rosa during an April 3 traffic accident in Old Pasadena, said a spokesperson in a news statement.

The pair were hit by a car which jumped the curb following a collision with another vehicle, a fire department spokesperson said at the time.
The father remained in fair condition and the mother was not injured. The boy died April 7 at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
Checks can be sent to the Jose Gabriel Dela Rosa Fund, care of Comerica Bank, 35 North Lake Avenue, Suite 120, Pasadena, CA 91101.
