All Saints Church to Host Immigration Community Forum

Angelica Salas, Executive Director of the Coalition for Humane Immigration Reform in Los Angeles will address a community forum on Immigration reform at All Saints Church, 132 North Euclid Ave., Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., said a spokesperson in a news statement.

Organizers said topics of discussion will include: Where is the immigration reform movement's voice in this election year, how can work place raids and the possible repeal of special order 40 in Los Angeles be stopped and how do issues and concerns of the immigration reform community take shape as we move into the next congressional session.

Other presenters will include leaders and organizers from NAKASEC, a Korean American immigrant rights organization, NDLON, the National Day Laborers Organization, C.L.U.E., Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, The New Sanctuary Movement, nationally known immigration lawyer, Meredith Brown, and members of the Immigration Task Force at All Saints Church.

Spanish language translation provided, no registration required. Free parking north of the church. No admission fees. All are welcome.
