Booboosheek Jewelry's Ovsanna Oganian and Touche Salon's Mira Khalil

Touché Salon & Day Spa and BoobooSheek Jewelry joined together with the Circle of Huntington Hospital in the fight against breast cancer on Friday, October 10.

BoobooSheek released their new "Pink" line of Swarovski Crystals bracelets to benefit Huntington Hospital's Constance G. Zahorik Breast Center.

The benefit titled "Let's get Social” was a fun-filled event that included food, shopping, raffles, dancing and drinks.

Touché Salon and BoobooSheek recently welcomed patients from Huntington's Center for an evening of relaxation and beauty treatment at the salon. Ten women from Huntington, undergoing treatment for breast cancer were treated to manicures, pedicures, facials, hair treatments, and massages courtesy of Touché
Salon.

"We enjoyed coordinating this 'Pink Ribbon' spa day with the Circle and we're delighted that Touché Salon could give these ladies hours of luxurious pampering," said Touché Spa owner, Mira Abi Khalil.

"We wanted to make these women feel relaxed and confident during the most challenging time of their lives," Khalil added.

Along with Touché Salon, BoobooSheek Jewelry made signature bracelets from pink Swarovski crystals for each woman.

"It's just a small token to remind them of how far they have come and a way to keep them motivated to get well," said BoobooSheek owner, Ovsanna Oganian.

"The ladies also had a chance to shop at BoobooSheek and a portion of all sales were donated to the Circle," said Oganian.

"We are very grateful to Touché Salon and BoobooSheek for their generosity and giving spirit," said Circle president Dr. Tara Burnett-Doering. "Community support is vital to the breast center and its patients and we applaud the kindness shown by Touché Salon and BoobooSheek."

Tickets for the fund raiser were $20 and a portion of the ticket sales and proceeds from BoobooSheek’s pink line of Swarovski crystal bracelets will be donated to the Circle of Huntington Hospital.

Huntington is dedicated to raising funds for the detection and treatment of breast cancer and is hosting fundraisers as part of its "Let Us Entertain You" series of events. For more information, or to order tickets, please call   (818) 524-9494   .
