Pasadena Salon and Jeweler Unite Against Breast Cancer
Touché Salon & Spa and BoobooSheek Jewelry host fundraiser for Huntington Hospital's breast cancer patients. Oct 12, 2008 | 2:1 pm
BoobooSheek released their new "Pink" line of Swarovski Crystals bracelets to benefit Huntington Hospital's Constance G. Zahorik Breast Center. The benefit titled "Let's get Social” was a fun-filled event that included food, shopping, raffles, dancing and drinks. Touché Salon and BoobooSheek recently welcomed patients from Huntington's Center for an evening of relaxation and beauty treatment at the salon. Ten women from Huntington, undergoing treatment for breast cancer were treated to manicures, pedicures, facials, hair treatments, and massages courtesy of Touché "We enjoyed coordinating this 'Pink Ribbon' spa day with the Circle and we're delighted that Touché Salon could give these ladies hours of luxurious pampering," said Touché Spa owner, Mira Abi Khalil. "We wanted to make these women feel relaxed and confident during the most challenging time of their lives," Khalil added.
"The ladies also had a chance to shop at BoobooSheek and a portion of all sales were donated to the Circle," said Oganian. "We are very grateful to Touché Salon and BoobooSheek for their generosity and giving spirit," said Circle president Dr. Tara Burnett-Doering. "Community support is vital to the breast center and its patients and we applaud the kindness shown by Touché Salon and BoobooSheek."
