The South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Committee is looking for "the big idea" for next year's float entry – before they've even completed this year's float! The current float, scheduled to debut on Colorado Boulevard to international television audiences on new Year's Day, 2009, is well under way in construction at the War Memorial Building, 435 Fair Oaks Ave. A sneak preview will be available to attendees of the Crunch Time Party on Monday, December 29th.

Offering a sustainable business strategy for corporations, Clean Agency has added new talent to the firm. They have also relocated their offices to South Pasadena. Newcomers to the firm are Christopher Kahl and Candace Hodder.




 For 30 years, Ellen Daigle of Ellen's Silkscreening in South Pasadena has been putting other people's names on T-shirts, pens, hats and other items as she built her business from her garage up. Recently Daigle got to see her name on something wonderful: a certificate honoring her as a recipient of a Woman in Business Awards.






15-year-old Ariana Solotoff won the state viola championship at the prestigious California American String Teachers Association State Solo Competition held at UC Davis.
