Local entrepreneur Brady Caverly, a longtime area resident, and his wife Mary Elizabeth, who live in the area with kids who study at local schools, own the Flintridge Proper. The couple’s goal when they established The Flintridge Proper was to capture the rich culture and heritage of the town which the Caverly’s love so well.. A place so specific to the La Cañada Flintridge that if you had only half an hour to show a visiting friend what makes the community special, a visit to The Proper would give them all they needed to know.

In addition to the farm-to-table versions of classic comfort food, plus seasonal fine-dining specials, the Flintridge Proper also boasts the world’s largest gin bar. I repeat: largest in the World. I exaggerate not. With more than 200 bottles and counting, a visit to the bar may give you pause, what with the dizzying amount of choices. The Flintridge Proper is also now open Mondays which means you can enjoy a Proper breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. And they open early every day, so you so you can enjoy the ‘Best Coffee in Town,’ and fresh, house baked pastries so you can stop in to wash away the Monday blues.
