Avant-Garde “Original Scent” to be Launched at Nikki West Boutique Pasadena on March 14

One of the country’s top perfumers is joining forces with two top female entrepreneurs to open a one-of-a-kind custom fragrance bar to help people create their own unique scent.

“Original Scent” is the avant-garde idea from three preeminent ladies of style – Nicole Winnaman, Entertainment Branding Agent; Marley Majcher, Celebrity Event Planner; and famed perfumer Sarah Horowitz.

These female of style will be holding their Grand Opening/Launch of Original Scent at the Nikki West Boutique, 34 Hugus Alley in Old Pasadena from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 14. Joining them will be Winemaker Sonja Magdevski, who owns Casa Dumetz Winery in Malibu with her partner Emilio Estevez.

“We wanted to give everyone the opportunity to fill the void in the relationship between mass market fragrances and a customized, personalized scent all your own – your most important personal accessory,” Winnaman said.

“Wearing a mass-market perfume is the new fashion faux pas and creating your own original scent is right on the pulse of what is missing in today’s lackluster perfume world. It’s a way to brand yourself and be immortalized,” she said.

The process to wearing a custom fabulous fragrance begins with a ‘Scent Profile,’ which matches a person to one of five different and distinct personality groupings, according to a news statement.

Using over 150 of the finest fragrance and essential oils from across the world, Original Scent’s perfumers then use the personality profile to create an original formula containing a variety of defining scents, or “notes.”
