The school year has officially come to an end, which can mean only one thing: it is time for Summer Swim Camps!

Waterworks Aquatics is now offering half-day, week-long youth swim camps throughout the summer, beginning on June 22nd. Children will have fun in the water while perfecting their swim techniques with quality swimming instruction.

This camp is recommended for children ages 5-14 years old who can swim 2 lengths unassisted across a 25-yard pool. If you are new to our program, we recommend participants to take a free swim evaluation prior to registering.

Summer Swim Camp is a great way to beat the heat as Waterworks Aquatics’ pools are completely indoors. A few of the skills covered in this camp include: stroke technique on the 4 competitive strokes, breathing and speed drills, dive and flip turns, and swimming games.

In addition, snacks and juice are provided each day as well!

Of course, if you’re looking for something the whole family can participate in, Waterworks has got you covered there, also.

Waterworks Aquatics’ Rockin’ Family Swim Nights are an open house pool party for swimmers of all ages!

Be sure to mark your calendars as these events will be taking place on July 18th, and August 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Families will be able to enjoy indoor pools, inflatable pool toys, swimming games, music, snacks, and drinks. Outside food is also welcomed.

Lifeguards will keep a close watch to ensure safety and life jackets are available as well. Be sure to wear your Hawaiian shirt and flip flops on June 20th as this Family Swim Night is Luau themed!

Waterworks Aquatics is located at 2290 E. Foothill Blvd Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 836-1200 or visit waterworksswim.com/pasadena/scamps/ or waterworksswim.com/pasadena/family_swim/.
