Beat the Monday Blues with 85 Cent Coffee

Make Monday a little less blue with a jolt of java. 85°C Bakery Cafe is offering their famous Sea Salt Coffee, in any size, for only $0.85.

Their Sea Salt Coffee is created by mixing sea salt directly into the foamy sweet cream that tops their brewed coffee. 85°C uses Guatemalan coffee beans roasted in Taiwan, for a smooth, rich taste. All coffee is brewed at 85°C (185°F), which the bakery chain’s founder Wu Cheng-Hsueh, believes is the optimal temperature to make coffee.

“We crafted our sea salt coffee as a special mix of flavors and techniques to bring a refreshing new palate to our customers around the world,” says Emily Hu, 85°C Marketing Director.

This robust drink pairs well with a delicate brioche. Jocson explains that sea salt enhances the flavor of the coffee; this unusual sounding combination is balanced by sweet cream. Stop by for
a diverse menu of 60 types of Asian-European influenced pastries, gourmet cakes, and baked goods prepared fresh every hour.

85°C Bakery is located at 61 S Fair Oaks Ave #120, Pasadena. Call (626) 792-8585 or visit www.85cafe.us.
