Cocktails of the Month | The Shaman: Just What the Doctor Ordered

Thursday, February 21, 2019 | 7:41 pm

Another grinding day. Want to slip off the edge after work? Head to over to Edwin Mills and try the Shaman…you’re sure to enter a pleasantly altered state of consciousness. The Shaman is a powerful elixir made from Pisco, Pinot Grigio, Mezcal, and pineapple juice. Take a couple sips of the Shaman and the mystical power will overcome you.

Or it this cold grey weather that’s getting to you? Don’t you wish you could open a window and let in, say, a Summer Breeze? The Summer Breeze is made from Freeland Gin, elderflower liquor, and informed by a slice of cucumber and dill. That barstool will feel more like an imaginary lounge chair.

A big ol’ sandwich or burger with fries feels like just the right way to compliment one of these cocktails.

Head on over to Edwin Mills and take your mind off whatever’s bothering you. After you throw a couple of these bad boys back, call an Uber or Lyft. Or, give your legs a stretch and wander around Old Pasadena.

Doesn’t that sound like a better way to end the workday than sitting at home watching Netflix?

Great grog, great grub at Edwin Mills by Equator. Located at 22 Mills Pl. Visit edwinmills.com or call (626) 564-8656.
