Coldwell Banker’s Darrell Done Helping Pasadena Residents Buy and Sell their Dream Homes for the last 20 Years

Sometimes making a change in life is hard, but the right thing to do. Just ask Coldwell Banker associate Darrell Done. Done, who is a real estate agent, was working for another industry before deciding to become his own boss.

“I lived in Pasadena for many years and in my previous career before going into real estate, I was in the apparel business,” said Done.

“I worked for Bullock’s Department Store for 11 years and I was in the buying office.”

Eventually, after working for Bullock’s and another company in Japan, Done moved on and got into the business of making homeowners and buyers dreams come true by either buying or selling their homes.

After those experiences, Done decided it was time for a change.

“I decided that maybe I needed to take control of my destiny and do something I could actually own,” he said.

And that he did. Done would take his experience to Coldwell Banker and for the past 20 years, he has helped over 500 customers either sell or buy a home.

“I really feel like I don’t sell real estate,” he says,“ I market real estate and if I market the the homes that I represent effectively, then I will create interest and out of the interest will generate an offer and a transaction that would sell the product.”

“I represent in a way that would get my clients the best price for what the market would bear and so far, it has worked out well.”

Done has represented clients all over the San Gabriel Valley and he advises anyone looking to buy or sell a home to have their ducks in a row because that is what buyers and sellers will be looking for when they consider an offer.

Done says when a customer is buying or selling a home, it is not only a transaction for not only them, but for him too.

“This is a transaction for me on the one hand and what we are doing is finding people their new home or helping people who are selling their home to transition to the next phase of their lives.”
