One of the easiest and best ways to enjoy Brussel sprouts is to buy some at the Pasadena Certified Farmers Market (to make sure they are fresh and locally grown) and take about 12 of them and slice them up thinly. Get some butter and olive oil (1 teaspoon of each) and combine them in a pan over high heat and brown the mixture (about 1 to 2 minutes). Stir in a tablespoon of lemon juice and throw in those Brussel sprouts for about 45 seconds (stirring constantly) until they begin to soften. Remove them from the pan and dust them with a little salt and pepper and viola, you have a tasty addition to your nutritious meal.

So, if it has been a while since you have enjoyed some great tasting Brussel sprouts get yourself down to the Pasadena Certified Farmers Market and pick some up and make them part of your diet. You won’t regret the benefits you gain from eating this great vegetable choice.
