Watching your favorite sport in a bar with your friends is an exhilarating experience. But watching a game in a sports bar with some friends, a beer and spicy chicken wings is a blast!

Big Daddy’s Fire Grill Restaurant offers chicken wings with a selection of special sauces to go down with your frothy beverage. They have regular hot, really spicy, and honey barbecue called “sweet heat” that comes in spicy or extra spicy. The sweet heat sauce, which is a mixture of hot sauce and honey, is a favorite amongst Big Daddy’s regulars.

Partner Amer Hanna said, “People are starting to learn about our chicken wings and our chicken wings are different than any chicken wing our customers ever had. It’s more meaty, it’s crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and that’s really bringing people especially with all our televisions, the sports, the beer and the wings, it’s becoming very popular.” Also, the wings are fresh, marinated, cooked in peanut oil at a higher temperature so they are less greasy. Not only are they the biggest wing you can buy, but according to the ADA, they are heart healthy.

Amer added that the wings and the beer are a perfect complement while watching sports. And Big Daddy’s spicy chicken wings are the favorite amongst sport lovers who frequently visit the restaurant.

Big Daddy’s also delivers chicken wings, Hanna added.

“We wrap the chicken wings in foil,” Hanna said and added, “We put them inside in nice boxes [to keep the wings hot and fresh].”

It doesn’t matter how large your group is. Big Daddy’s chicken wings come in a variety of selections to meet specific needs. They have six pieces ($6.95), 12 pieces ($11.95), 18 pieces ($16.95) and for a very large group, 50 pieces ($39.95).

For the 50 pieces, customers can choose between three and four different sauce combinations, “so that everyone is happy.”

Of course the chicken wings are always great to partner with an ice cold beer. And Big Daddy’s is offering a great selection of beers too. They even brew their own.

Big Daddy’s own brew, the Big Daddy’s Bock and Big Daddy’s Light are becoming popular amongst the restaurant’s patrons and are gaining loyal followers, especially during “happy hour” which runs from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week.
The Big Daddy’s Bock is a very smooth dark beer with an amber color although “it is not a heavy beverage.” Hanna said the beer is not like Aquinas or anything similar. Big Daddy’s Bock is popular for people who like the flavor of dark beer but do not like the heaviness. “And then our light is a flavorful light and it’s very refreshing,” he said.

But Hanna said it is almost always happy hour at Big Daddy’s especially when the Los Angeles Lakers, the Clippers and the Kings are playing and on TNT’s Thursday night and Sunday morning basketball. Don’t forget NBA All-Star Weekend starting February 15 and Big Daddy’s also expects to pack the house for the always popular March Madness NCAA basketball tournament beginning March 19 and running till April 8.

He said, “It’s really happy hour most of the time. People are really starting to like our happy hour beers.”

Aside from its own brew, Big Daddy’s also serves other draft beers such as Bud Light, Shock Top, Stella Artois, Fat Tire, Shock Top Wheat IPA and Modelo Especial.

Also served during Big Daddy’s happy hour are wines. The selections are Penfolds, Columbia Winery Riesling, Coppola Pinot Grigio, Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Merlot, Beringer “Founder’s Estate” Pinot Noir, Penfolds “Rawson’s Retreat” Cabernet, Rodney Strong Cabernet and Tamari Malbec.

Another favorite at Big Daddy’s is their milkshake. In fact, Hanna said they have regulars who visit the restaurant just for their milkshakes. The most popular flavors are the hand-scooped vanilla nutella and chocolate peanut butter.

They also have a root beer float milkshake that is popular amongst their customers, Hanna said.
