OSKA5As Pasadena sweltered this past weekend in a steamy mix of heat, rain and humidity, it was all falling leaves and crisp, grey afternoons over at OSKA.

“The new fall collection just came in on Friday,” said manager Tiana Bowden, “and it looks fabulous as always! The colors are very yummy, with oranges and soft, earthy tones, and it’s just very fun to wear and layer.”

OSKA is unique in that it offers a wide range of stylish and sophisticated pieces to mix and match together. Everything in the store matches seamlessly with everything else, from tops to pants to scarves and accessories.

And what colors will we see this fall?

“Spice,”says Bowden, “This burnt deep orange, and what they call “aqua corduroy thermal.’ I just call it ‘aqua.’”

And, there’s more, says Bowden.

“We have more thin wool sweaters than last year. We have bigger sweaters. So the tops are mostly shorter in the knit than last year. That would be the difference, and colors are more vivid.”

Think pumpkins and crisp apples.

OSKA Pasadena is located in the One Colorado Courtyard, at 13 Douglas Alley, Pasadena. (626) 432-1729. www.pasadena.oska.com
