Another distinguished estate will be restored soon by prominent interior designers and landscapers and will shine as the next Pasadena Showcase House. One of the interior designers who will take on an ambitiously creative venture in this house is Cecile-Rose Rubayi of Cecile Rubay Interior Designs in Signal Hill.

Her task is to restore the 1,099 square-feet sitting area, “and back into the linen closet and the servant quarters,” she said. It also functions as one of the transitions towards the bedroom.

She explained more about her renovation and restoration process: “It’s going to be a very fun room to come in and greet you once you get home. It’s going to be eclectic. A lot of Bolognese-style carvings, artworks, and colors that are going to be popping everywhere.” She plans to keep the main closet in a neutral hue to make the jewel tones come alive.

“I want the owners to come in and say, ‘Oh, we can finally take off our coats. I can finally relax and know that I’m going to unwind and [have a] heavenly sleep,” she added.

We can’t wait for the results! Watch for the other interior designers working for the showcase house that is set to be revealed in April.
