The Huntington Collection, the resale consignment store selling high-end clothing and furniture to support the Senior Care Network of the Huntington Hospital, is throwing its end-of-the-month sale on April 25th from 12 to 6 p.m.

The sale takes place on the last Thursday of each month and features 50% off of all regular clothing and accessories as well as 50% off donated white tag items.

Cultural artifacts from Central and South America, Asia, Africa and other locales around the globe are the big feature of the month. Pottery, masks, framed artwork, kachina dolls, ceramics and more can be found at the Collection.

“You’ll see interior designers there and you’ll see people like you and me just looking for a good deal,” said Dorey Huston, Public Relations Manager for the Huntington Hospital.

The Huntington Collection is a treasure trove of vintage and midcentury modern furniture, antiques and collectibles, China and other unique items you simply can’t find online.

The event is the monthly one-day-only opportunity to score eclectic accent pieces and larger furniture items at discounted prices.

Huston’s advice to visitors? “Get there early and know what you want,” she said. Oftentimes, people will line up before noon to get first dibs!

All of the proceeds of the Huntington Collection go to the Huntington Senior Care Network, “a nationally recognized program that helps older and disabled adults and families remain healthy and independent,” according to its website.

The items are all based on community donations. For example, Pasadena residents that are downsizing their homes or moving out of state can call the Collection who will come to their house and pick up the items. The donations are tax-deductible, too.

“[The event] is a great opportunity to find either that really cool piece you’re looking for or just something that you need for your house,” said Huston.

The Huntington Collection is located at 766 S Fair Oaks Ave. Visit or call (626) 535-2468.
