Industrial Chic Room Featured in Pasadena Showcase House

Continuing our coverage of the upcoming Pasadena Showcase House, a restored house featuring renovations and interior design projects by some of Pasadena’s prominent interior designers and landscapers, we check in with our next featured designer.

One of the interior design firms assigned to restore a distinguished establishment and turn it into a haven of exquisite beauty and design is Concept Builders. Don Boline and Nancy Del Santo are the designers behind this interior design company. The duo will renovate the bathroom and transform one of the rooms into a teen boy’s room. “We’re really going with the theme of industrial chic. It’s a teen boy’s room and the showcase of the room will be the suspended bed which will be made by Don,” says Del Santo.

“There will be fabulous industrial piping that we’re using to suspend the bed from floor to ceiling. We’re also using a stripe beam which we will use on the ceiling through this room and then we will carry the stripes onto the flooring in the bathroom.” The bathroom will also feature tiles with metal inserts “to make it fun and different,” says Del Santo. Wall treatments will be done in a paint called “After the Storm” by Dunn-Edwards Palette, which the designers deem as “really beautiful.”

We know you’re just as excited as we are to see the results. In the meantime, you can book your tickets here.
