The International Gem and Jewelry Show Coming Back to Pasadena

Thursday, August 9, 2018 | 7:38 pm

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and you can find lots of those and other jewels at this year’s International Gem and Jewelry Show. Returning to the Pasadena Convention Center this August, here’s what to expect.

First inviting the public in 1967, the International Gem and Jewelry Show is one of the only places where anyone can come and purchase fine jewelry that has been created in countries spanning the entire globe.

Whether you’re a fan of vintage jewels or want a modern diamond-encrusted masterpiece, the show will be selling fairly priced items from a multitude of designers. Get a little taste for the gems that will be on offer:

Antique Cartier watches will sit alongside handmade jade and amber pieces while standalone diamonds can be purchased and set in pre-existing rings.

The International Gem and Jewelry show has always set out to appeal to any taste and any price point. The most inexpensive pieces will only set you back a couple of dollars while more unique items can range into the thousands.

You can spend hours browsing the incredible designs on offer or work out what you want beforehand and enter the show with a mission in mind.

The International Gem and Jewelry Show will hit the Pasadena Convention Center from Friday August 31 until Sunday September 2. Opening and closing times vary each day. Tickets can be bought online for only $6 per person or on the door for $8 each.

Pasadena Convention Center is located at 300 E. Green St., in Pasadena. For more information, call (800) 307-7977 or visit https://pasadenacenter.visitpasadena.com.
