Keller Williams Realty Pasadena Hires New Team Leader

Stephen Miller joins region’s top realtors with an eye on further expansion and raising bar in the industry

Stephen Miller has been hired as CEO/Team Leader at Keller Williams Realty Pasadena. He heads a team of more than 165 associates at the largest realty office in Pasadena, a company that has experienced unprecedented growth in the last few years and that continues to expand.

Miller has nearly 25 years of experience in real estate specializing in residential listings and sales. He has worked at large franchise operations and independent realtors and joined Keller Williams in 2005 as Team Leader of the Hermosa Beach office.

Ken Parsons, CFO of Keller Williams Realty Pasadena, says the Team Leader has the most important job at Keller Williams:

“The Team Leader’s job is to recruit, retain, educate, and motivate our associates. We had to be very selective about finding the right person because our associates are our most important asset. Stephen understands the Keller Williams culture completely and we are delighted he has joined us.”

Miller says the interview process worked both ways and that he was also very selective in finding the right opportunity:

“I have the strongest respect for how Ken and Jayne Parsons have grown this office in only a few years with a focus on integrity and support that I’ve not seen anywhere else. They have put together an incredible team of people. A company is only as good as the talent it attracts and, in my book, Keller Williams Pasadena has the best talent out there.”

Miller, who has been involved in more than 800 transactions during his career, brings a wealth of experience with him. He says his true passion is recruiting, coaching and mentoring, factors at the core of Keller Williams’ corporate culture where realtors are encouraged and supported to be successful entrepreneurs and business owners.

“My mission is to save great agents from the stifling restrictions of a traditional real estate office” he says.

Keller Williams Pasadena was recently named the largest real estate company in the region and continues to grow. The business has just expanded with a move to new offices at the heart of Pasadena’s business district.

“The fact we have top position in the US, rank so highly with customers and continue to expand doesn’t surprise me,” says Miller.

“This office has quickly become number one in the region and we are very quickly going to take it to one of the top in the state, and then the nation.

“I’m constantly surprised that people feel there is very little inventory out there, while we are enjoying record sales. If the market is slow, I don’t see it in Pasadena.”
