CicLAvia, the largest car-free open street event in America, is heading to Pasadena and will take over the town on Sunday, May 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participants will travel along Colorado Boulevard, tour the side streets, visit lush parks, and explore Pasadena’s historical architecture using foot, pedal, and non-motorized wheel power. It’s also the most walkable CicLAvia to date, covering 3.5 miles. It’s a beautiful way to explore our beautiful city!

The employees, who just finished participating in last week’s Bike to Work Week for “National Bike to Work Day,” will volunteer to man a station at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Del Mar Boulevard on from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Employees will be handing out route maps and other information about the event to the CicLAvia participants. They will be ready to address questions, give directions, and cheer you on as you pedal by. It’s just one way The Langham Huntington is trying to extend their spirit of hospitality and renowned customer service.

Sponsored by Metro Los Angeles, CicLAvia welcomes everyone to walk or bike and be one with the no-car community. It’s not a race—you can start anywhere or go as far as you want.

For more information about CicLAvia, contact info@ciclavia.org or call (213) 355-8500. Like the Langham employees, you too can volunteer.

The Langham Huntington is located at 1401 South Oak Knoll Avenue, Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 568-3900 or visit www.langhamhotels.com/en/the-langham/pasadena/.
