Romance is at the heart of February.

Beyond Valentine’s Day on the 14th, February is American Heart Month, An Affair to Remember Month, Creative Romance Month, National Weddings Month. The third week is International Flirting Week. Feb 15 is Singles Awareness Day, the 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day and the 20th is National Love Your Pet Day.

Arnold’s Fine Jewelry has helped generations of lovers ask, “Won’t you be my Valentine?” with sparkling rings, necklaces, bracelets, earring and much more since it opened in Pasadena in 1910.

The company actually started in 1890 when C.O. Arnold opened a store that sold jewelry and musical instruments in Ottumwa, Iowa. C.O.’s grandson Bruce Arnold began working side-by-side with his father at the store in the mid-1970s and bought the business when his father retired.

A certified gemologist and member of the American Gem Society, Bruce leads three generations of staff members that continue the company’s fine customer service that make sure February is Creative Romance Month for their customers.

Valentine’s Day wishes can be expressed in so many jeweled pieces set with diamonds, gemstones, pearls set in gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals.

Amethyst, the birthstone of February, is a variety of quartz in spectacular purple color that ranges from a blend of deep violet and red to a lighter lilac hue – perfect for this romantic month.

For National Weddings Month, customers have plenty of engagement rings and wedding sets to choose from at Arnold’s. Skilled artisans can also create one-of-a-kind bridal visions to life through hand-crafted, custom jewelry design.

Customers can commemorate affairs to remember with jeweled gifts from Arnold’s or send a glittering trinket to their heart’s desire during International Flirting Week.

Singles can pick out a beautiful piece just for themselves, because they can celebrate too during February.
