Make Music Pasadena is set to rock your world on Saturday, June 6th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The largest free musical festival in the West Coast, Make Music Pasadena is expected to draw crowds exceeding 50,000.

The great thing about this festival is it’s happening everywhere. There will be six main stages located throughout Downtown Pasadena, plus more than 30 supporting venues—indoor and outdoor—that will provide you and your friends an urban and musical experience.

The iconic Centennial Square at City Hall is one of the six main stages, and will feature the equally iconic Pasadena Symphony & POPS. Show here will start at 5:30 p.m., with Jamie Shaheen opening the show.

Armory Center for the Arts on N. Raymond Avenue will feature acts like Nacosta, Donna Bummer, and Finnegan Seeker Bell, who will open the show at 11:00 a.m. There will also be family-friendly activities for children and adults alike.

Festival venues that seem unconventional (thus worth checking out) are Beyond Hair, Pasadena Presbyterian Church, Pasadena Public Library, and the Fuller Theological Seminary, which will host a musical event on the campus courtyard.

Burbank Music Academy will welcome students and even alumni on the Mercantile Alley Stage.

For a more relaxed ambience, go to the Old Town Pub which will feature more than 12 hours of music presented by Sherpa, Music MGMT, Delavie TV, and One Question Sessions. Interestingly enough, the event will be held in the same back alley location they’ve been using since 1973.

The cozy and intimate wine bar Monopole Wine will showcase four musical acts from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Sports bar 35er Bar will get into the musical action by presenting various acts from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Dance club and lounge Club 54 is hosting the Stars and Streetlamps Stage, and is set to fill the place with urban music from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Check these other venues out for more performances: Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Bar CeLona, Copa Vida, Der Wolfskopf, The Factory, IX-Tapa Lounge Cantina, Kings Row Gastropub,  redwhite+bluezz, Shoppes at Stats, T-Boyle’s Tavern, and Zona Rosa.
