People that care, should care about the Young and Healthy Alliance Award, and about those who receive it as they are dedicating their time, and energy, to making the world a better place for children to live in.

Darrell Done, who is a real estate expert in Pasadena, is also an expert at raising money for the Young and Healthy organization, whose work helps to keep needy children, well, young and healthy.

Darrell believes, as does the All Saints Church who started the Young and Healthy organization, that the way a society takes care of its children is a determining factor in its success and viability, and that all people deserve access to healthcare. To this end he has worked tirelessly for the Young and Healthy organization to raise funds for their efforts at providing needed healthcare platforms for the children of Pasadena.

Through these efforts, volunteer physicians, dentists, therapists, optometrists, pharmacists, & other healthcare professionals treat the children Young & Healthy refers to them free of charge according to the organization.

Such efforts are to be commended, and that is what the Alliance Award is all about. Darrell was recognized formally with this award by the Young and Healthy organization, and also received recognition for the award from Kathryn Barger, Los angeles County Board of Supervisors – Supervisor for the 5th District, and Judy Chu who is United States Congress/House of Representatives Congressman from the 27th District.

So, congratulations Darrell Done on receipt of this prestigious award, and Pasadena thanks you for your continued efforts at making healthcare possible for disadvantaged youth in our great city.
