This April, Christopher Homes will debut Wisteria, a spectacular collection of luxury residences that will introduce the largest new home designs in Rosedale. The new Wisteria neighborhood, a 68-luxury home development in Rosedale which is nestled in the scenic foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, is offering “flexible homes” designed to meet the varying requirements of today’s homebuyers.

This Wisteria neighborhood is the collaboration of the entire Christopher Homes team and its professional associates known for its quality architecture, attractive landscaping and award winning model home presentations.

“There are four distinct floor plan designs,” Phil Yasskin of Christopher Homes says. “Each home features flex spaces that allows home owners to utilize the rooms according to their family’s lifestyles. An example would be the bonus room that can be used as an upstairs family room, study area or another bedroom with its own bath.”

“The Wisteria homes are going to range in size, from approximately 2,900 to just under 3,600 square feet,” he added. “Two of the floor plans being offered in the Wisteria neighborhood are homes featuring first floor master bedroom suites allowing the occupants of that first floor bedroom to enjoy the benefits of single-level living.”

Another plan features a private three room casita with a bedroom, living area and bath. This casita has a private entrance off of the entry and a privacy door between the main residence and the casita. The builder expects to appeal to both multi-generational families, families that have adult members who visit, or even families whose college graduate may not yet have settled into his/her own place. These flex homes are all about providing homebuyers more choices to design their home to fit their lifestyle. The Wisteria homes are anticipated to be priced from this high $600,000s to the mid $700,000s.

Wisteria homeowners have access to Rosedale’s recreation center, called “The Resort.” Features include an approximate 4,500 square-foot private clubhouse and two-acre recreation center with state-of-the-art fitness center, Junior Olympic swimming pool, spa, children’s wading pool and a recreation area that features trellises, outdoor fireplace and barbecue.
Yasskin says the fitness center at The Resort is used day and night. As a member of the board of directors for the homeowners association in the community, Yasskin admitted that when visiting the community for meetings he enjoys seeing the Rosedale residents fully utilizing the amenities offered by The Resort.

“During the summer, you will see Rosedale residents in the pool all the time. It’s really an active recreation center,” he says. “It is not one where it’s just there to look nice, it’s being used really well. Rosedale’s residents often have their children’s birthday parties and various social events at The Resort. They can reserve a room for their event and there is also a large fully equipped kitchen for catering or convenient use. It’s being well used and that’s the exciting part.”

Yasskin said The Resort is a central part of Rosedale’s lifestyle. According to him, “Rosedale has quickly evolved into a very cohesive community. Rosedale has many different sized homes, which include condominiums and single-family detached homes all integrated into this master plan so that everyone feels like they’re a member of the Rosedale community.”

Yasskin concluded, “Christopher Homes is known for its quality southern California communities. We have a long time history of having developed thousands of homes in Orange and San Diego counties, and when people build or resell them in the future, the real estate agents often brand it as a home built by Christopher Homes. Our homeowners like following our new communities and neighborhoods. People often would buy a smaller home, and then some years later, sell it and move into one of our larger homes as we would grow in the community. Christopher Homes has a quality builder reputation and we are continuing to preserve that with Wisteria at Rosedale.”
