Now Arriving: Boiling Point

Move over, Alhambra!  Pasadena is quickly becoming the new hot spot for Asian cuisine.  From Guppy Tea House to Green Zone, popular spots for Asian food in the neighborhoods to our southeast are spreading their roots to our town.

The newest addition?  Boiling Point, a chain originating in Hacienda Heights.

Boiling Point offers bowls chock full of a variety of ingredients, from different meats like beef and lamb to seafood and organic vegetables.  There are also different levels of spiciness you can select to truly customize your meal, like none (it’s ok—you don’t have to like it hot) to flaming spicy.

The restaurant also has a selection of add-ons and upgrades, like quail eggs and pork belly, guaranteeing you will sit down to a lunch or dinner that’s exactly what you’ve been craving.

Still hungry?  Try one of their amazing looking Macaron ice creams in five flavors (cappuccino, green tea, strawberry, mango, and vanilla).  Yes, that’s what it sounds like—delicious ice cream sandwiched between two large French macarons.

The chain has designated this location as a Concept Store.  According to Eater LA, one of the main differences between the menus from their other locations and Pasadena’s Concept Store is the lack of their specialty “stinky tofu.” One can only guess that this designation might mean special offerings only available at this store, but that is yet to be determined.

Check out this new addition soon!

Boiling Point is located at 18 W. Green St., Pasadena.  For more information, visit (626) 219-6935 or visit www.bpgroupusa.com
