Want to see what backyard paradises look like?

On May 18, Pacific Outdoor Living will be having a self-guided tour that will feature 8 homes in Arcadia, Pasadena, Sierra Madre and Altadena.

“It’s probably a four-hour adventure. But all the homes are within short driving distance of each other,” says George Goodrich of Pacific Outdoor Living.

The tour is self-guided and people who registered won’t have a set time table to follow. Goodrich says, “The way it works, people who registered for the tour are e-mailed a map and directions and they can go in whatever sequence they want over the course of the day between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and they could just visit each house and look and ask questions.”

The aim of the tour is to showcase what Pacific Outdoor Living can offer homeowners, and to give them inspiration and ideas for their own landscaping project.

“Anyone that’s thinking of doing any kind of landscaping in the next year or so, will see some very clever design applications where tiny spaces are maximized and large spaces are magnificent and they’ll just see a wide breadth of ideas,” says Goodrich.

Goodrich also tells us that some of the houses look very ordinary from the outside, but once you “go in the back and then you just go, ‘Wow.’ You’d never know that they had that kind of environment in the back of their house.”

Those interested to be part of the tour can register online at http://www.pacificoutdoorliving.com. After which registrants will be sent a map and directions on May 16th.

Alternatively, you can visit Pacific Outdoor Living’s Design Showroom at 2727 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta on the day of the tour itself for the map (Shown below) and directions.
