Make the most of your summer at Matt Denny’s with its line-up of events that will make cold summer nights even cooler.

Father’s Day Weekend
Attention all Dads!!! It’s that time of year you are waiting for. You get a day. Yes, you get to play golf, gamble at the track, hang with your buddies, and shuck all your responsibilities for a day.

O.K. so maybe you get to watch 10 minutes of golf on T.V. , bet $5.00 with your buddy on the NBA Finals game and maybe grab a five minute nap while you can. It’s all good. You at least deserve to eat great food and have a tasty brew, so make sure you come to Matt Denny’s for a great Father’s Day!!!

In addition to our regular menu, we will be running our weekend Father’s day Specials Friday and Saturday Night as well as all day on Sunday.

If you are looking for steaks, chicken, pork, or seafood, then we are your spot. We will also have the games on, so you can kill two birds with one stone. You’ll have spent time with the family, had a few brews and watched some sports. What else could you ask for?

We will be taking reservations for all size groups on Dads Day, so call and book a table today.

The Staff at Matt Denny’s wish you all a very Happy Father’s Day

Congratulations to all Class of 2013 Graduates!!
Remember, stay in school as long as you can and live with Mom and Dad even longer!!! For those who did graduate, celebrate your newfound freedom (or lack of it, depending on your views) at Matt Denny’s. Invite your friends and family for a feast to mark the end of an era, and the start of a new.

Wreck N Sow
Friday June 21,
Saturday July 20 and Friday August 23 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Wreck N Sow is a Folk/Bluegrass quartet featuring Randy Cochran on bass fiddle, Andre’ Dupuy on mandolin, Pierre Dupuy on guitar and Mike Stave on fiddle. Everyone sings! They play a lively blend of original songs mixed with bluegrass standards and obscure and sometimes quirky cover tunes.
You’ll hear songs about love and machines and trainwrecks and Jesus and fishing and family and possibly even a possum. All the boys are born and raised here in southern California and they enjoy drinking beer.

Wreck N Sow have recorded two CDs, First Harvest and Second Thoughts and have performed at a variety of venues from the Stagecoach Festival in Coachella to the Sierra Madre Centennial Celebration. They will be performing again this year at the Orange County Fair and are looking forward to making new friends (and drinking beer!) at their upcoming three shows at Matt Denny’s. More info at www.wrecknsow.com and wrecknsow on FaceBook.

Brianna Conroy and MR. Moon
Friday July 19 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm Brianna Conroy:

Singer-songwriter, Brianna Conroy, is the very first featured artist on Fitz Ross Productions. Though presently honing her craft as well as writing and promoting her own songs in Boston, at Berklee College of Music, home is Los Angeles for this creative talent.

Self-taught on the guitar and piano, the fresh faced youth first splashed onto Youtube back in 2010, making waves as significant as those tumbling luxuriously down her head.

Backed simply on acoustic guitar by her brother, Brianna’s earnest rendition of ‘Sprawl II’ by Arcade Fire has since garnered over 20, 000 hits, no small feat for a YouTube debut. Since that time, Brianna’s performance resume has come to boast such impressive venues as LA’s Whisky a Go-Go and The Roxy. The steady diet of classic music acts such as The Beatles, Crosby Stills and Nash, Beck, and Radiohead, nurtured her formative years and have no doubt flavored Brianna’s originals.

At the same time, her writing is influenced by the contemporary likes of The Black Keys, Grizzly Bear, Kimbra, The xx, and Young The Giant. The result is a unique sound that calms with its raw melodic simplicity, sedate harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics; atmospheric, raw, and real.

Mr. Moon: Former member of the alternative/indie rock band Eden’s Bliss, Manhattan Beach California native Michael de Virgilio personifies the musical form of himself under his new Moniker Mr. Moon.

Having begun his musical career with Eden’s Bliss, playing shows at notable Los Angeles Venues such as the Whiskey A Go-Go and the Knitting Factory, Mr. Moon now carves his way down a solo career path. Currently juggling studies at UCLA with his artistic talent, Mr Moon’s originals veer towards an indie rock sound that bears undertones of jazz and folk.

Look out for his upcoming EP in mid-July, which will feature songs that are honest yet ambivalent, and convey Mr Moon’s authentic address of the intangible psychological void that modern society faces.

Rubber Soul
Saturday August 10 Thursday 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Rubber Soul performs Rock and Roll tunes and lead toward their favorite band the Beatles. Rubber Soul performed at Matt Denny’s on St. Patrick’s Day 2013. The band has great energy and really enjoys performing for the crowd.

Snotty Scotty and the Hankies
Friday June 28 and Friday August 9 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

This famous or infamous local band has been playing for over 35 years in the Pasadena area. They play a mix of all the rock and roll songs you remember, some you don’t and will even throw in a few original tunes as well. This is a return trip to Matt Denny’s.

Roadhouse Ron
Thursday June 20, July 18 and August 22 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Roadhouse has performed at Matt Denny’s in the past. He is a one man show with his acoustic guitar and will play all the cool rock and roll songs from James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Eagles and more.

Enjoy summer to the hilt and head on down to Matt Denny’s for a summer shebang to remember.
