If you looking for the latest hotspot in Pasadena, look no further than The Mixx.

The Mixx, which opened its doors a few months ago, is a combination of great food and great music says owner Ed Minassian.

“The Mixx is a restaurant and bar and we are trying to add an element of live entertainment to it.”

“Whether it be jazz, or soft rock we are trying to add some kind of live entertain during dinner service, ‘he says.

For example, this Tuesday night the Mixx will be presenting guitar night with John Pisano from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. There will be no cover charge for this event.

But Minassian knows the main attraction which will draw in most Pasadena residents, will be the food.

Kansas City Chef Jeremy Zimmerman has created a playful menu is French inspired by New American cuisine utilizing the freshest of seasonal ingredients says Minassian.

Minassian says that Zimmerman brings his unique take on the Mixx’s menu by smoking the meat for items such as baby back ribs, creating homemade sauces for each dish and making homemade desserts too.

And now, the Mixx offers a terrific lunch menu that features not only Kansas City Ribs, but Ahi Tuna, Smoke Salmon and USDA prime beef tartar just to name a few.

So if you are looking to take your taste buds on a invigorating sensory adventure, blending Old World with French Inspired New World taste in a bold, multifaceted atmosphere, maybe you should give The Mixx a try.

The Mixx will be located at 443 E Colorado Blvd or call to make reservations contact (626) 500-0021.
