Have you noticed the many “national days” celebrated almost every day?

Moms have Mother’s Day; Dads have Father’s Day, so how about the rest of the family and our circles of friends?

August could be called the “Relationships Month” due to all the days commemorating various personal connections we have.

When you want to celebrate the people in your life, Arnold’s Fine Jewelry in Pasadena has plenty of perfect choices. Customers come back time and again for its unique jewelry selection that includes work by several featured designers. Many customers seek the skills of Arnold’s own designers to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

National Sisters Day is Aug. 4, which is also National Friendship Day. The third week of August is National Friendship Week. How about one of your sister’s birthstones, either Peridot or Spinel, in a gorgeous ring or pair earrings? Maybe your friend has their eye on a piece at Arnold’s and wouldn’t they be surprised?

Chinese Valentine’s Day, or Daughter’s Day, on Aug. 7 (the seventh day of the seventh lunar month) celebrates love and romance. Any heart-shaped gems would be delightful.

Aug. 11 is Son and Daughter Day, followed by Middle Child’s Day on Aug. 12. How about an engraved piece of jewelry or pass down a cherished heirloom? Arnold’s can personalize gifts and refurbish jewelry.

Aug. 21 is Senior Citizens Day. Maybe your senior friend has jewelry they don’t wear because it needs cleaning or repair. Arnold’s will make it shine like new.
