Giving thanks feels much better if you look fabulous.

Thanksgiving is a time for giving, well, thanks. One of the more important American holidays, it is a time for families and friends to get together and enjoy each other’s company.

However, being with friends, family, and basically people you are most comfortable with, does not mean you can’t look fabulous while you get together right? Of course not. There are two ways to dress for Thanksgiving: you can go casual, or you can go all-out dressy.

For those who plan to have a laid-back casual Thanksgiving dinner, here are some ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

Skinny jeans and trousers are your best bet, and though the colors of the season are dark blue, gray, or black, OSKA’s Trousers Benita or Dilani give you the option to go brown, or even orange. You can also wear legging, which go well with boots, such as OSKA’s Trousers Sunny Long.

For footwear, boots naturally go well with the season, but you can’t go wrong with flats or low heels as well. But remember to keep the colors simple unless you are wearing a drab-colored outfit and you want your shoes to be the star of the show.

With accessories, you can go wild with scarves animal prints, or anything with loud colors. Especially if your overall outfit is gray or black.

For your top, a corduroy jacket such as OSKA’s Jacket Brita is nice, while sweaters, cardigans and shirts that are comfortable and warm would work great. If you insist on wearing a dress, knit dresses are perfect with leggings and boots.

For those who want to be a bit dressier for Thanksgiving dinner, consider the following:

Pants, paired with nice knitted tops or sweaters, should be dark colored, and though leggings can be pulled off, it’s better to use tights. For shoes, flats and heels are your best choices.

For tops, black is always safe though if you’re feeling especially fashionable, you can play around with colors. OSKA’s range of versatile tops, from the Shirt Dana and Shirt Dascha to the Blouse Dacina and Blouse Desiree, can be used for any season, so feel free to be adventurous.

For those who’d rather wear dresses and skirts, you can check out OSKA’s Dress Dalida, Dress Dale, or Dress Divia for out-of-the-box inspiration.

Whether you opt to go casual or dressy depends either on your mood or the company you will be spending dinner with. All that matters is what feel right for you and what makes you comfortable

To complete your outfit, casual or dressy, vests from OSKA would be the icing on the cake. From the Vest Daga to Vest Ebba, Vest Ebony to Vest Evette, the grays and black hues of OSKA’s vests would fit well with most any outfit.

Loose, comfy, classy, and elegant, these OSKA vests will surely give much needed class to any ensemble.
