Have you ever asked yourself what the difference is between a Tangerine and a Tangelo? The names sound similar and many people get the two confused when talking which leads one to believe that some might not know the difference.

Both of these delicious fruits are in season right now and can be found at your Pasadena Certified Farmers Market. Even though their names are similar they are very different types of fruit as the Tangerine has sections similar to Mandarin Oranges and are easy to peel and then pull the very distinct, individual sections apart and eat.

So, now that you know the difference between these two fruits you might want to try whichever one that you had confused for the other. They have them both in abundant supply at Pasadena Certified Farmers Market where their certified growers bring in only the best fruits to sell. Give them both a taste as they both are delicious, nutritious, and full of sweet goodness that you just can’t get enough of once you have tried them.

Note: Victory Park market will be closed on Dec 29th for preparations for the Rose Parade and will be back the following week, January 5th, for a good start to better eating in 2019.
