If you like wine dinners then your in for a treat this month. The Farm Winery, a California native vineyard making some great wines that people of distinction should know about, will be have the featured wines for this great dining event.

No meal out is complete without a nice bottle of wine to wash it down with. That’s exactly why Arroyo Chop House is partnering with this exquisite local vineyard for a special wine dinner.

The Farm Winery 1

Situated in the hills of Paso Robles, The Farm Winery started over 30 years ago by four friends. Taking care with how it makes its wine, the entire process can take years.

The Farm Winery specializes in creating small amounts of exquisitely tasting red wines from the ripest of fruit found in its vineyard. Each member of the team is hands-on, watching the vines to see when they need to be pruned and checking on the fruit as it grows.

Each wine’s taste is reminiscent of the purple berries and mineral limestone that it started as. The taste is significant but not so strong that you’ll be put off with just one whiff.

The method in which The Farm Winery works eliminates the need to put acidity back into the drink – unlike most California-based winemakers. This is due to the limestone base and the emphasis on creating small but perfect amounts.

The vineyard produces a number of wines including The Big Game, which is a mixture of Rhône and Bordeaux, and The Dish, which is characterized by its fresh taste.

If all of this wine talk is making you thirsty, you’re in luck. On June 28, Arroyo Chop House will be serving a four-course meal alongside several wines created by The Farm Winery. Costing $125 per person, this meal will be a full scale delight for the senses. He’s the menu:
