Dressed to the nines, over 250 guests attended the Premiere Presentation of the 2015 Pasadena Showcase House of Design on Friday, April 17.  During a beautiful Spring evening, guests were treated to a grand tour of an eclectic 1910 English Tudor – Craftsman estate where they mingled with the designers and strolled about the newly designed spaces. Afterwards, the crowd gathered at the Langham Hotel for dinner and dancing. They were welcomed with a signature cocktail, The Wentworth, that had been specially concocted to celebrate the evening. Cocktail napkins with an illustration of the House added to the festivities.

“Premiere Night is a time for us to celebrate our hard work and thank our designers and members for their tireless efforts and contributions,” said Premiere Night Co-Chair Erin Dundee. “This year we only had 72 days to transform the estate, so this night was especially rewarding,” added Premiere Night Co-Chair Pam Ragus.

Guests dined on a special menu presented by The Langham. They enjoyed a fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, grilled beef filet, herb roasted sea bass, and tasty grilled vegetables. They completed the meal with a decadent caramel mousse chocolate fudge cake. San Antonio Winery and Riboli Family Wine Estates generously donated the wine that complemented dinner. Ethereal lighting illuminated decor and highlighted the beautiful floral arrangements by Drew Domenghini of Patterson’s Topiaries, Pots & Teas. The band, Film at Eleven, lured guests to the dance floor with catchy tunes, where members danced the night away.

The 51st Showcase House is now open to the public through May 17, 2015. Tickets cost between $35-$45. To purchase tickets, or for more information about PSHA, please visit www.pasadenashowcase.org. All visitors to Showcase House must be 12 years of age and older.  Flat shoes only.
