Pasadena police authorities are continuing the search for a 22-year-old Pasadena woman who was reported missing Friday.
Katherine “Katie” Wing was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. as she was leaving work in the area of 4500 Sperry Street, Pasadena police Lt. Jesse Carillo said.
Wing’s family said she was expected at a Halloween party in Glendale but did not arrive there. Relatives said she was driving a white 2011 Toyota Yaris with license plate no. 6PZZ635 which has not been found either.
The family owns another home in the Ventura area, but police said Wing was not seen at the location.
Her mother, Delia Wing, told TV station KTLA that Katherine Wing has suffered from depression but could not ascertain whether this had anything to do with her disappearance.
Katherine Wing is described as white, five feet three inches tall, and weighed about 100 pounds. She has green eyes and dark hair. Her mother said she has multiple tattoos – a likelihood of the Virgin of Guadalupe on the upper left arm with a large snake underneath, and the text from John 3:16 in the bible written on her back.
Anyone who has information about Wing’s whereabouts is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241, or the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department at (805) 654-2380.
