31-Year-Old Chatsworth Man Dies In Pasadena Car Crash Thursday Night

Pasadena Police say a 31-year-old Chatsworth man was the lone fatality in a crash involving a second car at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Orange Grove Blvd. just before 9 p.m. Thursday.

Police Lt. William Grisafe said the man was headed eastbound on Orange Grove Blvd. when he crossed over onto the wrong side of the road and into westbound traffic. He crashed into a car that was going westbound and died at the scene.

The two passengers in the second vehicle were transported to a local area hospital where they were treated for their injuries and later released.

The identity of the deceased man is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and confirmation by Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
