Playhouse District Association Announces It Has Selected Block by Block for Cleanliness, Safety Programs

The Playhouse District Association has announced it has selected Block by Block to support both the cleanliness and safety programs of the Playhouse District area.

Working seven days a week, the expanded Playhouse District Association Ambassador Guide team walks the Playhouse District to ensure a clean and safe environment in which to live, work and play. The guide team performs cleaning tasks, assists customers and addresses safety issues.

Association officials said you might also see them on a Segway or in the Playhouse District’s own truck dressed in highly visible teal and khaki uniforms.

The new team provides these services:

• Information and directions

• Safety escorts

• Monitors suspicious activity

• Vandalism removal and reporting

• Litter removal and power washing
