Pasadena Heritage announced it will pay tribute to its Executive Director of 25 years, Sue Mossman, at a July 13 reception to be held at the Castle Green.

9,136 DAYS: A Celebration of Sue Mossman! will honor Mossman for her career at the organization, which began 40 years ago.

She has held almost every position within the organization, Advocate Development Director, Program Director, even Newsletter editor, rising to the top as Executive Director in 1994.

There is no one more deserving of a fabulous celebration than Mossman, the Pasadena Heritage announcement said.

Pasadena Heritage is a nonprofit organization dedicated to historic preservation in and around Pasadena. The organization advocates on behalf of historic resources, educates the public about local history and the benefits of preservation, and demonstrates quality restoration through a variety of programs and projects.

Its 2,000-plus members are drawn from Pasadena and neighboring communities, and throughout Southern California.

The reception will take place at the historic Castle Green from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Guests will enjoy fine foods from Little Lily’s Kitchen while Craftsman Brewing and local Pasadena Stark Distillery will be pouring beverages. Performances by jazz pianist Jeff Colella, Parson’s Nose, A Noise Within, and magician Mike Caveney will entertain guests throughout the evening.

The organization invited community members to join in the celebration on July 13, and said it was very grateful for the outpouring of support from its sponsors, individual and corporate, who have already committed to supporting the event.

Individual tickets are $175. For questions about the celebration or tickets, visit or contact the Pasadena Heritage office at (626) 441-6333.
