“It really feels like you are in the cutting edge of something new,” says Jack Fritz, a member at EpicSpaces. Jack is a registered Patent Attorney who focuses on trademark filings, patent prosecution, and any matters involving intellectual property for new businesses or start-ups.

Jack, who recently had a grand opening for his law practice, Fritz Law Group, at EpicSpaces says, “I love the location. It’s central to both Office Depot and great restaurants. It’s a lively environment for both businesses and leisure time”.

The days of working from home are becoming more and more common and business owners are quickly discovering that a home office can be full of distractions. The idea of co-working, aka many individuals working in an open or joint space, is one that is becoming extremely popular.

In addition to WiFi, conference rooms, and a kitchen, these co-working facilities provide new companies the opportunity to meet people in their industry as well as other small business owners in the area.

As a new co-working facility, EpicSpaces is looking to provide professionals a place they can work and interact with others.

“Creative Intersections” is something special that occurs at EpicSpaces. “Creative Intersections” occur anytime our membership community interacts, brainstorms, asks questions of each other, and shares their knowledge with one another.

“I think one of the nicest features is the outdoor space,” says Bruce Olsen, Vice President of products for Support Groups Central. Support Groups Central provides advanced global technology services for managing and bringing together common needs or interest groups.

“I will often go outside to sit, think, get some peace and quiet and have a little change of venue. It’s nice to be able to do that without having to be in the street where you are dealing with different distractions.”

Bruce, who has been a member at EpicSpaces since its opening, has witnessed the fast growth EpicSpaces has experienced.

“I really like the modern aesthetic, clean lines, and very open areas. There’s exposed brick you can see outside on both sides of the building that creates a type of connection back to older Pasadena.”

EpicSpaces strives to continue making connections in Pasadena.
