The Davyd Whaley Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Los Angeles area artists, celebrated their third year anniversary with a special art exhibit showcasing the work of their 2016-2019 grant recipients. Titled, Three Years, The Davyd Whaley Foundation, the opening reception was held on June 8, 2019 at the Castelli Art Space.

Altadena resident Margaret Griffith, recipient of a Mid-Career Artist Grant, was among the seven artists. Margaret’s work takes on a variety of forms, as installation, sculpture and drawing. Among some of her pieces shown were “Alba”, Water jet cut copper, 45″ h x 37″ w x 18″ d, 2018 and “15th, 17th, and Pennsylvania” detail, handcut synthetic paper and acrylic, detail.
