Angeles Crest Highway Slammed by 3 Major Accidents in Minutes on Sunday

Authorities said that Los Angeles County Fire Dept. and the Sheriff’s deputies were at the scene of a major traffic collision on the Angeles Crest Highway  near the Switzer’s Fall Picnic area at 1:14 p.m. Sunday shortly before announcing a second, then a third, collision.

Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Air Rescue 5 was requested and immediately en route, according to a report.

About one minute later, Helicopter 17 was dispatched to a second traffic collision apparently also near mile marker 34.14.

Then at 1:17 p.m., a separate, third accident was reported as blocking lanes.

Little else is known at this time.
