Armed Robbers Flub Job, Flee

The Pasadena Police Department reported the attempted armed robbery of a man delivering packages for Amazon in the area of North Fair Oaks Avenue and West Washington Boulevard on Thursday afternoon at 12:28 p.m.
Lt. Marcia Taglioretti said two suspects came up behind the deliveryman and one pointed a gun at him. One of the suspects said, “give me what you got.”
In response, the victim dropped the package and fled into the Kings Villages complex, Taglioretti said.
The suspects departed the scene, and the victim circled round and was able to recover the parcel, she said.
Taglioretti said subsequent attempts by police to track down the suspects proved unfruitful.
