Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region Endorses Portantino for State Senate

Anthony Portantino for State Senate campaign said today it received the endorsement of the Armenian National Committee of America, Western Region.

The ANCA-WR is an influential Armenian American grassroots advocacy organization. Approximately 50,000 Armenian American voters reside in the 25th Senate District.

“The ANCA-WR is proud to lend its full and complete support to Anthony Portantino’s campaign for the CA State Senate as he’s been a staunch advocate of our Cause and a true friend of our community since his early days on the La Cañada Flintridge City Council,” stated ANCA-WR Chair Nora Hovsepian.

“Our decision was based on Anthony’s strong track record of serving the needs of our communities and productively working with the ANCA regional and local chapters for nearly two decades. We are confident that he will continue to build on this strong foundation when elected to the State Senate,” added Hovsepian.

The ANCA WR joins the California Police Chiefs Association, the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs Association, ATU Local 1277, the Sheet Metal Workers, Local 105, CWA Southern California, LIUNA Local 777, UA Local 78, The Teamsters Joint Council 42, Los Angeles County PPOA, AFT College Staff Guild, the California Small Business Association and the Association of Independent Commercial Producers in supporting Portantino for State Senate.
