As part of the City’s ongoing effort to close down illegal cannabis operations, today, the Pasadena Police Department served search warrants at 1460 and 1470 E. Walnut St., Pasadena, Ca. The search warrants resulted in the arrests of 44 year old Jose Cam from Huntington Park, Ca., 20 year old Vanessa Munoz from Monrovia, Ca., 22 year old Jocelyn Munoz from Pasadena, Ca., and 20 year old Monica Sandoval from Pasadena, Ca. All four subjects were arrested for the possession for sale of marijuana and released on their signed promises to appear in Pasadena Court. A total of $5,000 in U.S. currency was seized along with approximately 168 pounds of marijuana and other evidence. This investigation will be presented to prosecutors for the filing of criminal charges. Investigations are continuing at other illegal operations around the city to maintain our legal responsibilities and address public safety issues.
As it relates to the City’s approved plan for cannabis operations, on Tuesday, November 13, from 4-6 pm at the Pasadena Center, City staff will provide information on the upcoming process to issue cannabis licenses for retail, cultivation and testing operations.
