Goldenvoice, the concert promoters and creators of Coachella, Stagecoach, FYF Fest and Desert Trip hosted a preview night on the grounds of the Brookside Golf Course for their upcoming inaugural Arroyo Seco Weekend, the two day family friendly rock, soul, jazz, funk and blues acts, featuring such acts as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Alabama Shakes, The Meters, Dawes, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, The Shins and Mowgli’s, just to name a few.

Nic Adler, Goldenvoice festival director talked about the atmosphere and the layout of the festival. The 3 stages (Willow, The Oaks and Sycamore) will be set-up on the golf course grounds with plenty of spacing to be able to spread out with a picnic lunch and blankets. There will be plenty of food and drink vendors that will include some of Pasadena’s most respected chefs and craft breweries.

And for the kids, there will be a kid friendly area hosted by Kidspace Children’s Museum which will include 6 hands-on interactive activity stations for families to enjoy. How cool is that. And kids 10 and under will be admitted into the festival for free.

Mud Baron and his crew from Muir Ranch will be running around the festival collecting and broadcasting treasured moments with the always festive floral headdress.

Darryl Dunn, CEO & GM of the Rose Bowl Operating Company talked about the long term viability of the Arroyo Seco Weekend (signed 10 year agreement) and gushed about how special the inaugural event will be and the ability to build on the success it generates.

On the weekend of June 24-25, there will probably be no better place to be than the surrounding grounds of the world famous Rose Bowl, in the Arroyo Seco, in always beautiful Pasadena, enjoying great music, food, drinks and community.
