ATV Inc. has opened an American Tire Depot retail store in Pasadena, one of six recently opened stores in the greater Los Angeles metro area, a report on Tire Business said Tuesday.
The Pasadena location, at 2155 E. Colorado Blvd., formerly operated under the Autobahn Tire and Automotive Center name.
The other five stores – in Culver City, Hollywood, Thousand Oaks, Upton and West Covina – are former Performance NAPA AutoCare Centers that ATV acquired from former NASCAR racer Tim Huddleston in late 2016.
The new stores expand ATV’s dealership network to 98 stores, stretching as far north as Paso Robles and south to San Diego, a distance covering 325 miles.
Under American Tire Depot colors, the new ATV store in Pasadena will offer up to 28 brands of tires along with a range of services, including shocks and struts, oil and lube changes, maintenance and inspection, brake replacement and other auto services.
Last year, ATV Inc. acquired Wayne’s Tire and Auto Repair and its five outlets along the Central Coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
