Fritz Coleman returns to Sierra Madre Playhouse in a new expanded version of his show Defying Gravity, which sold out its previous engagement last October. He’ll be coming back for a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday, May 6.
Defying Gravity is a humorous look at the far side of 50. Yes, one has to face that sooner or later, and Fritz Coleman is bound to share some insights that make it fun, funny and familiar.
Most famed as the KNBC-TV weatherman since 1982, Fritz Coleman has also won four Los Angeles area Emmy ® Awards for his comedy and specials. He has also written and starred in three plays, It’s Me, Dad!, Tonight at 11!, and The Reception. Fritz has performed stand-up comedy over a period of 25 years.
“Surprising, incisive and powerful.”—Daily Variety
“His skills go beyond finding everyday humor in various topics. His relaxed style and gift for language add depth, as though he’s having a one-on-one conversation” – Daily Breeze
Join Fritz for an afternoon of wit and laughter, followed by a meet and greet in the lobby with a wine-and-cheese reception.
