Bella! Aguila! Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

RabbitBella (A445920) is a 6-month-old brown and white rabbit who has a busy schedule! This curious bunny likes to explore, smell and touch new things. Unlike some bunnies, Bella likes to be active. She enjoys hopping on and off her bunny castle and if you give her paper, she will happily play with it for hours. When she has time to “pencil you in” she will come over and give you some attention. She likes to be pet, and enjoys the new smells that you bring.

The adoption fee for rabbits is $35. All rabbits are spayed or neutered and microchipped before going to their new home.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A445920, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.

DogNovember is Adopt a Senior Pet Month and 8-year-old Aguila (A444215) is a brown german shepherd, who is hoping to find her forever home. If you want a dog to greet you happily when you get home from work, Aguila is your girl. She comes right up to the front of her kennel when volunteers, staff, and visitors come by. She has a lot of energy and gets excited when it’s time for a walk. She seems to calm down after a long walk, and some petting. If you’re looking for an active, but older dog, Aguila might be your new friend!

The adoption fee for dogs is $130. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before going to their new home. Aguila qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program, making her adoption free for adopters 60 and over.
