Blair High School will receive money to support its music program as a recipient of the 2018 Grammy Museum Signature Schools grant.

Blair High School, located at 1201 S. Marengo Avenue, is one of four high school music programs in Los Angeles County selected as a Grammy school this year. Cash grants totaling $90,000 will be distributed to the schools over a three-year period to support their high school music departments.

The GRAMMY Museum Signature Schools program was created in 1998 to provide financial support to public school music programs that demonstrate a need and a compelling plan to address that need during an academic school year.

In addition to the grants, each of the recipients will be recognized at the Grammy Museum and will receive a custom award. GRAMMY Museum Signature Schools grants in Los Angeles are made possible through the support of The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation.
