Boys Athlete of the Week: Tiyon Martin of Muir

Accomplishment(s): Martin is one of the many unsung heroes for Muir this season. The first-place Mustangs earned three Pacific League victories this week over Arcadia, Crescenta Valley and Burbank. Martin and his tag-team partner, Simaine Stewart Junior directed the Mustangs offense and he finished the week with a combined 33 points, 21 assists, 18 rebounds and 9 steals. Muir (13-5, 5-0) will take on Pasadena (11-6, 4-1) on Friday at Maranatha in the first of two classic showdowns with their crosstown rivals.
